2nd European Backgammon Team Championship
Budapest, 18-20 September 2015
For the second time, the European Backgammon Federation (EUBGF) organises the European Backgammon Team Championships (EBTC).
The tournament is set up in Swiss format. Every represented country will play 7 rounds of four 15-point matches. After these 7 rounds, the four highest ranked countries will play semi-finals and a final.
1. As member of the EUBGF, the Belgian backgammon federation, BGFed.be, has unanimously decided to send a representative team (Belgium) to Budapest.
2. The Board of BGFed.be has appointed a Selection Committee (SC) to decide on a selection procedure to send the best possible team to the 2nd EBTC. This SC is composed of : Guy Van Middelem (chairman), Michel Lamote (member) and Luc Palmans (member).
3. BGFed.be will not share in the expenses. Entry fee, registration, travel and accommodation will be paid by the selected players.
