Four teams have registered for the 4 Cubes 2024, BGFed.be’s league for backgammon clubs in Belgium:
- Brussels. Captain: Guy Van Middelem. Winner of the 4 Cubes 2023.
- Gent. Captain: Bert Van Kerckhove. Finalist in 2023, and champion from 2019 to 2022.
- Leuven. Captain: Johan Segers.
- The Pirates. Captain: Daniel Rozenberg. New team.
Extending the ladder format of the two previous years, the schedule is as follows:
- Quarter final: Leuven vs The Pirates. Deadline: September 30, 2024.
- Semi-final: Gent vs winner QF. Deadline: November 30, 2024.
- Final: Brussels vs winner SF. Deadline: January 31, 2025.
The team mentioned first plays at home. Teams are kindly requested to show some flexibility in choosing a suitable date.
