    Two rounds to go, and Belgium ranks 20th amongst 42 countries. We’re hoping to at least maintain that place and even to go up. After having met some very strong opponents in the previous rounds (Germany, UK, US), we’re determined to prove we’re stronger than Latvia. But “Hoogmoed komt voor de val”…

    Just lost my match… I didn’t play badly (“Expert”), but my opponent played better (“World Class”) and moreover had the dice on her side. Better luck, I hope, for Geert, Guy, and Michel!

    Guy lost as well, but Geert and Michel won. The team from Latvia turned out to be very strong. Belgium – Latvia 2-2.
